BRINGING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TO DISTRICT 2:
Helped bring a billion dollar boon for Rowlett's Tax Base with the Bayside project at Lake Ray Hubbard. As Mayor, Todd Gottel has fought for a fiscally responsible budget for Rowlett since becoming Mayor in 2011.
OPPOSING SANCTUARY STATUS FOR ILLEGALS:
Joined Mayors Beth Van Duyne of Irving, Todd Meier of Addison, and Bob Phelps of Farmers Branch to oppose the Commissioners Court decision to give sanctuary to criminal illegal aliens.
FIGHTING FOR CONSERVATIVE PRINCIPLES AS MAYOR:
Opposed Atheists plans to shut down prayer before council meetings and continually stood for business owner and property owner rights.
Todd Gottel is the only candidate for County Commissioner who has:
